


The number of runes in your pocket can be expanded if take the anvil of doomĮnhanced underway: An extension, rather than a replacement, of the underway - perhaps something in the vein 2/Fall of the Samurai's train network - a network of holds that enable armies and trade caravans to quickly move around the dwarf recaptured Karaks. In multiplayer cap the number of runes at 3, so as to maintain some sort of balance, and modify the runes to be castable onto a unit. Reworked Runes: Add the expanded runes to the runesmith / runelord arsenal. Let the player use these runes, using resources and oathgold, and apply them to units, a la Greenskin workshop. It would give the dawi another tool to deal with chariot abuseĮxpanded runes: The lore is chockfull of runes that gave a huge amount of variety to the dwarf army - infusing the Master Rune of Immolation that can covert artillery engines into explosive devices or the Rune of Immolation that enables units to deal fire-damage. I have a fantasy, a fantasy that is so dear to me that it nearly hurts by the fact that its a mere fantasy and could be easy enough to implement - a fantasy that has been strenghtened and reforged by the good people of the Karaz-a-Karak discord - pray tell, let me share my dream for the good old Dawi (in descending scale of complexity) for the next DLCįree Unit, a la Bone Giant: The Rune Guardians - this would be a nice unit that adds a nice amount of variety to the dawi frontline, whilst not being locked behind a pay-wall.
